SiNgIn' In ThE rAiN oUtTaKe (:

7/20/12 2:30am -Falling asleep

7/20/12 5:03am -Woke up to dog being scared of thunder and lightning

7/20/12 5:03-Now  -I've been awake. I couldn't go back to bed! There was a thunder/lightning/rain storm! How the heck do you sleep through something so marvelous?!

Definitely had my "Singin' in the Rain" playlist going...

Wore my rain~boots today.

Definitely looked at old videos on Youtube. Found a deleted scene from Singin' in the Rain that I'm kinda glad they didn't put it in the movie.... Until the end of the song, cause I could definitely relate to parts and it would definitely enhance to the chickflick:

THEN, I found this video to a movie I've never seen/heard of. And now I want to watch it. This next song describes my life! I love love love it:

I want to watch that now. I love Debbie Reynolds. When I was little I grew up with her voice, and I always secretly wished I could sing like her someday!

So there you have it. 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night and I'm just so happy about everything! The rain just brings about a good mood in me! :)

Lazy Summer Dayz

C.O.W.
EFY... I can't even begin to do a post on how wonderful it was. From the very first day everybody in my company was best friends and essentially had everyones names down. "C.O.W.'s" (crush-of-the-week) are definitely a bigger deal when you're 14-15 and can't date anyone.
But everyone in my company just wanted to be great friends! The boys were chivalrous gentlemen and the girls didn't mind being complete crazies while at the same time being so sweet and understanding... (which is saying something because girls generally bug the crap outta me!) I drew closer to my Savior --even without the efy medley, although it would have greatly helped me to feel the Spirit-- and I learned some cool new ways to look at things we do in the church. I got less than 24 hours of sleep throughout the whole week when I probably should have had at least 50 hours... Needless to say, I was exhausted and have become a napping maniac! I didn't wake up until lunch time today! ...And yesterday. ...And the day before (but I had only woken up because I set my alarm so that I wouldn't sleep through 1pm church!)

Today I participated in a "Star Wars" marathon!! Which was fun! I know, call me geeky, but the newer movies are awesome! And the grownup Anakin, holy cow, so much attractiveness going on.  Ahem, anyway.... Although I am checking off some things on my Summer to do list, I really should be a bit more productive... Like read a good book for example.

Someday I really will fulfill my perfect Summer though. I really want to someday spend at least part of my Summer in Paris. Ride my old fashioned bicycle through town, buy some awesome loaves of baguettes -- just because I can, take walks down the streets as the sun goes down and the city lights turn on, listen to beautiful local music, obviously see all of the touristy sights, be able to see the eiffel tower/the city of love from my window, cafés, meet an attractive somebody and, and and--

--my dreams carry me away though. I just need to be happy with where I am and who I'm with. (:
So that's all for now I suppose.  OH JUST KIDDING:
That's from the movie "We Bought A Zoo" ...And I feel like i've been living by this quote lately. It makes the ride of life a little bit more worthwhile! (: Okay. I'm done now.

Oh hey Summer, glad you could come!

Well it's about freaking time Summer got here!

My 4th of July was awesome! My cousins came over and we grilled hamburgers, dug a fire pit and made s'mores with reese's peanut butter cups (I recommend!), ate WAY too much, and lit lots-and-lots of big fireworks in my driveway until 11pm. Tonight I'm going to see Les Misérables with my family... And hopefully I'll get a bit tanner before EFY next week! Hasta luego!!
